Moonglow Acres is a charming family homestead nestled in the northern Adirondack Mountains of New York.
We are situated on several acres of forested land; fields and trails that border the peaceful Boquet River.
This lovely setting allows us to live in harmony with nature, and provide a happy home for our sled dogs, chickens, our family - and visitors!
The Moonglow Family
Our story is tied together with family, dreams, and the wild beauty of the Adirondacks.
We are Sarah and Jeramie, our daughters Adelynn and Felicity, our beloved Malamutes Apollo (Sun) and Yue (Moon).
Our lively homestead also includes cherished cats Stella, Liam, and Lanie, a bustling flock of chickens, turkeys, a rambunctious guinea hen and our matriarchal duck, Cookie Dough.
For as long as we can remember, owning a piece of property in the Adirondacks has been our shared dream. That dream became a reality in 2021 when divine timing led us to our charming 1890s farmhouse in Lewis, NY, with its sweeping views of the Jay Mountain range. The elderly couple we purchased it from shared, 'We always wanted to run sled dogs through those woods...' mirroring our exact vision.
There was even an empty chicken coop waiting for us!
And so, here we are: living our dreams, rooted in this special place, surrounded by our beloved creatures.
